Omplayer loop chapter1/31/2024 ![]() '1' is sent as the parameter to the function, because loop A is one level above loop B. Calling GetParentIterationIndex (1) from inside Loop B, will return the value 2. Loop A is currently on its second iteration (iteration index 2). Loop A iterates a maximal number of 3 iterations. I'm running v0.3.5 (Build date: Sun, 18:17:45 +0000 Version : 9b0793f ) version and noticed a dramatic improvement over previous versions, but just checked the stats the player collects and it's started to creep back in that my watchdog timer will have to kill off omxplayer even though the video has actually ended. Loop chapter B is nested in loop chapter A. I have put the Pi Presents with the workarounds that I used for the test in If you can't do that (because omxplayer grabs the framebuffer - I've never tried it from within X), switch to a different VT (virtual terminal - there are at least 6) via ctrl-alt F 1-6 (just try the F-keys in order until you get a login prompt). This process of incrementing a variable is very common in programming that programming languages usually provide an easier method of doing this. The basic idea is you open another terminal while omxplayer is running and kill it. initialVolume (optional): The initial volume, omxplayer will. i 1 start: TextWindow.WriteLine (i) i i + 1 If (i < 25) Then Goto start EndIf This program prints out numbers from 1 to 24 in order. If this occurs when the loop option is in place, the omxplayer process may run indefinitely. omxplayer and omxplayer.bin do not terminate and have to be killed. For Loop Let’s take a program we wrote in the previous chapter. Omxplayer.bin and omxplayer then terminates. usr/bin/omxplayer: line 56: 3756 Aborted LD_LIBRARY_PATH="$OMXPLAYER_LIBS$" $OMXPLAYER_BIN then pexpect detects an eof Following this the omxplayer and omxplayer.bin processes terminate naturally. ABORT - omxplayer.bin appears to abort before outputting have a nice day. TIMEOUT - The stats output produced by the -s option stops during a track so there is no have a nice day, the last line is often truncated. ![]() All seem to occur with a timestamp that is near the end of a track:Ī. One of the best possible item combos, a.k.a., the stuff that can make or break your loop The stat milestones we're aiming for are the following: Skeleton Level Loop Level Skeleton Quality 40-50 Max Skeletons 4 Attack Speed 100 During your first loops you'll be rotating items almost constantly to both reach and maintain the above stats. Using the script below and also an instrumented version of Pi Presents (which uses noahs pexpect to interface with omxplayer) I have observed three different symptoms. Sometimes after tens of iterations sometimetimes after thousands. This occurs for the 4 videos tested and at random. Omxplayer occasionally terminates incorrectly at the end of a track.
